The Swan's Neck danced at The Coach & Horses, Weatheroak
The Swan's Neck was the first dance entirely written by Alvechurch Morris.
It was conceived in 1991 and was named after the local pub where the side was formed and practiced for a brief period.
It was first danced out in Hanbury during that year. The dance was originally planned for 12 dancers, and it is still danced with that number on occasions. Over recent years this dance has been modified musically with the choruses being danced without musical accompaniment.
